Welcome Our New Assistant Principal

Christina Morado is a bilingual education leader with over 20 years of experience in international youth development, and middle and high school instruction on both coasts.

She has taught social studies, humanities, English and English as a Second Language (ESL). A product of Teachers College at Columbia University and New Leaders for New Schools, Christina served as an assistant principal at a bilingual kinder–grade 8 school, leading an international teaching team of 29 middle-school educators to deliver high quality bilingual education, rooted in justice and socio-emotional well-being.

Her passion lies in creating school structures that challenge and support adults and students, pushing both to continually find and surpass their “edge.”  In her down time, Christina is a voracious reader of young-adult literature, a new recipe enthusiast, and a burgeoning yoga teacher.
